Here is the story for the Company name Coraggioso, pronounced "cora-jo-so" -Italian for courageous. Sometimes we don't even realize when we are being our most courageous selves - like putting yourself in front of a camera at your family's request. 

I became a professional photographer after my second bout of breast cancer left me with the scars of a mastectomy and a debilitating lack of self-confidence - especially in the spot light or on the other side of a camera lens. 

Thanks to a couple of professional photographers who were kind and excelled in coaching their clients I came out of my shell in front of their lenses and shined in a way that brought me to tears when I saw the finished photos. Not long after that I decided I would hone my skills and become a professional photographer committed to helping clients who hate having their picture taken, who call themselves introverted or simply don’t feel relaxed enough to shine in photos.

I can’t wait for you to experience my style of photography because it will be your best self in the photos you receive and will remind you each time you look at them that you are CORAGGIOSO!!
